In California, it is illegal to drive while talking on the phone.  It is too distracting.

Yet it is totally OK for radio stations to include LOUD POLICE SIRENS in their commercials.  How is this not more distracting?

PS: I bet it is also more distracting when people rubberneck, looking at the poor sob that got pulled over, for example, for talking on their phone.
