Radio waves travel as photons

I posted online about the Green Bank telescope's ability to perceive RF signals easier then light, since RF uses electromagnetic energy whereas visual light uses photons.  This was in response to the discovery of chiral molecules in interstellar space, as announced in Science this month.

Someone corrected me explaining that RF uses photons as well (!).

I was surprised, but I was able to look into the matter and confirm this fellow was correct.  Really changed my perspective of light vs. RF.  It's the same thing under the hood. Wow.

This person changed my mind.  Science encourages ourselves to change our beliefs when presented with a good reason to.

It was great.

And nobody got killed.

If only the rest of society operated that way, right?
